PROJECT PROFILES

Restoring the design intent and interest of the course that was originally designed by Donald Ross in 1916 was the primary focus of the 2021 renovation at The Scioto Country Club.

Under the management of Golf Course Superintendent Bob Becker, all bunkers were rebuilt with Pro/Angle Bunker Sand and liners from Better Billy Bunker.

Last renovated in 2008, Scioto Country Club elected to use Pro/Angle Bunker Sand, as it did for its previous renovation.

This Jack Nicklaus Signature designed course originally opened in 2003, and completely renovated their bunkers from 2015-2018 under the management of Superintendent Dan Grogan.

These renovations featuring Pro/Angle Bunker Sand have improved the playability and appearance, along with reducing the amount of labor and material needed to repair bunkers after significant rain events.
